WHAT IS A MICRO CHURCH ANYWAYS?
We’ve collected and answered some of the most commonly asked questions that we receive. If you have a question that wasn’t answered, we’d love to hear from you!

What is a micro church?
Answer
A micro church is a group of 10-25 people including adults and children that seek to obey Christ’s great commandments and great commission. We aim to live like a family obeying the 50 plus “one-another” commands of Scripture. We are led by a church leader (deacon or elder qualified). The church leader trains up a future church leader. Our goal is to equip all to become disciple makers, who multiply more churches every 6-18 months.

What is a disciple?
Answer
Mark 1:17 says, “And Jesus said to them, “Follow me [depending], and I will make you [developing] and become fishers of men [deploying]”. A disciple is someone who in an intentional disciple relationship with another person to grow in dependence on Jesus, developing in their faith through the power of Jesus, and deploying to share their faith in Jesus.

Children’s Ministry?
Answer
Youth and children four and up are included in the gathering.
We believe from experience that including the youth and children is a very healthy experience for them to grow in their faith. They do amazingly well.
Children three and under are normally in a room nearby with a couple of adults keeping watch.
Sometimes kids are loud (they are kids!) and that is ok. Jesus welcomed the little children. We want to welcome them too.

Youth Ministry?
Answer
On Wednesday nights from 6:30PM-8:ooPM the youth meet together in a local home to study God’s Word, pray, and have fun. Right now the youth are going through the Bible using the Read Scripture App. Visit our Youth page to learn more!

What’s the role of the Pastor?
Answer
Primarily to develop leaders to lead the churches.

Do you have sermons?
Answer
Not normally. We do more of Bible study discussion. Anyone can participate who chooses to do so!

What do you do for worship?
Answer
We sing along with songs played on YouTube, or someone plays an instrument to lead the group.

How does Disciple Together celebrate communion?
Answer
We celebrate communion every Sunday. It is a great joy to realign ourselves to Christ every week by celebrating and proclaiming His death and resurrection until He comes. We believe the Scriptural evidence favors the practice of holding communion each week. (Acts 20:7, I Corinthians 11:23-26, 16:1).
